Frank W. Bridges Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2017 in memory of our father. Frank was hired by Austin Community College in 1962 to teach Speech, Theatre, and Philosophy courses. He retired in 1989. He was also the Director of Theatre, a job he dearly loved. One of his notable accomplishments was the creation of the Summerset Theatre program. He was quick to point out that the contributions made by many made the theatre a success. In 1992, Frank was honored when the college theatre was officially renamed the Frank W. Bridges Theatre.
