John R. Bolstad Scholarship

Mr. John R. Bolstad is a 1967 graduate of Austin Junior College (now Riverland). John went on to receive his B.S. Degree in Mathematics from Mankato State University (now MSU-Mankato) in 1969. He taught math and computer courses for Western Technical College from 1981-2002. John also received his Masters of Education degree from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 1985. A long time educator with a passion for students, John established this scholarship in the fall of 2013 to provide financial support to Riverland students pursuing their new education/career pathway and give them a head start.
