William J. Diggs Carpentry Scholarship

Jeannie Diggs Kearney established this scholarship in memory of her father after his death in October, 2014. Most of his life he worked in residential construction and retired owning and operating his own business, Diggs Construction Company. He only had a tenth grade education but worked hard at what he loved. This scholarship is given to encourage students to pursue a career in carpentry. William often said that there aren’t enough good carpenters around anymore. I hope this helps to change that.
